Jerusalem Film Festival's special award for Bosnian film “Quo Vadis, Aida?”

Jeruslem Film Festival's (JFF) competition jury consisting of Pawel Pawlikowski, Joseph Cedar and Daniela Michel, awarded special recognition to Jasmila Zbanic for her film “Quo Vadis Aida?”, a Bosnian candidate for the Oscars.

He 37th JFF showed 11 films within its international competition programme and the entire festival screened 70 feature films along with 20 short ones.

The Jerusalem Film Festival screens 150-200 films every year from December 10 to 20, among which are the world’s best film achievements. The festival which was founded in 1984, is the leading platform in Israel for the presentation of best contemporary world cinematographic trends.

Over the years, the festival has screened film debuts by famous filmmakers such as Wong Kar Wai, Tsai Ming-liang, John Sayles, Jim Jarmusch, Stephen Frears, Spike Lee, Quentin Tarantino, Nuri Bilge Ceylan.
