There have been 365 new coronavirus infections and 28 related fatalities in Slovenia in the past 24 hours, the Slovenian government said on Saturday.
A total of 1,336 PCR tests have been conducted, confirming 358 infections while 125 fast antigen tests have confirmed another 7 cases, the government said.
There are currently 18,662 active cases of the disease, with the average daily number of new infections in the past seven days being 1,307. The situation in hospitals has been gradually stabilising and there is no longer a major influx of new patients.
Currently, 1,142 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised, including 201 in intensive care wards.
With the latest 28 fatalities, the coronavirus death toll has risen to 2,507.
