Bosnia and Herzegovina recorded 1,000 new coronavirus cases and 29 Covid deaths, the healthcare authorities confirmed on Thursday.

The new results come from 3,831 lab tests performed on those who reported infection symptoms.

The Federation entity logged 615 new cases out of 2,874 tests, bringing the coronavirus total to 151,753. With 16 new fatalities confirmed over the past 24 hours, the death toll in this part of the country is 5,997.

As for Republika Srpska entity, its healthcare authorities confirmed 358 new cases out of 850 tests performed over the past 24 hours. The coronavirus total in this part of the country is now 75,360 and with 12 new deaths the death toll has reached 4,241.

Brcko District reported 27 new cases and one fatality. The coronavirus total in Brcko District now stands at 7,662 and the death toll at 368.
