Healthcare institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina reported on Wednesday that they registered a total of 1,742 new coronavirus infections and 79 Covid-19 fatalities throughout the past 24 hours.

In Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) entity, 4,594 people were tested and 1,163 of them were positive for the virus, while 46 people passed away due to the disease.

In the other semi-autonomous entity, Republika Srpska (RS), 474 of the 1,266 people tested since Tuesday were positive and 30 Covid-19 patients died.

Bosnia’s Brcko District reported 105 new infections and three Covid-19 fatalities.
