A total of 617 people have tested positive for the coronavirus and eight passed away due to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours in Bosnia and Herzegovina, healthcare authorities said on Friday.
In Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) entity, 400 of 2,211 samples tested were positive for the virus and five COVID-19 patients died.
In the other semi-autonomous entity, Republika Srpska (RS), 195 of the 718 samples tested were positive, while three people passed away due to the disease.
Bosnia’s Brcko District registered 22 new infections.
