A total of 721 people among the 3,270 tested were confirmed positive for the coronavirus and 35 COVID-19 patients passed away in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the past 24 hours, healthcare authorities said on Friday.

So far, 268,572 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in the country and the COVID-19 death toll is 12,219.

In Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) entity, 475 of 2,514 people tested since Thursday were confirmed positive for the virus and 21 patients died.

The other semi-autonomous entity, Republika Srpska (RS), registered 216 new infections, as well as 13 COVID-19 deaths.

Bosnia’s Brcko District reported 30 new infections and one COVID-19 fatality.
