Coronavirus: Serbia reports 18 deaths and 901 new infections

Over the last 24 hours, 18 patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 12,089 tested people, 901 were infected with the coronavirus, Serbia's Health Ministry said on Thursday.

To date, COVID-19 claimed 6,629 lives with a mortality rate of 0.94 percent.

Currently, a total of 3,311 patients were in hospitals, 98 of whom on ventilators.

Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 3,977,053 people have been tested, and 704,398 have been positive for the virus.
