Coronavirus: Serbia reports 35 deaths and 2,719 new infections

Over the last 24 hours, 35 patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 14,544 tested people, 2,719 were infected with the coronavirus, Serbia's Health Ministry said on Thursday.

To date, COVID-19 claimed a total of 6,130 lives with a mortality rate of 0.91 percent.

On Thursday, a total of 6,174 patients were in hospitals, 219 of whom on ventilators.

Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 3,741,146 people have been tested, ‬ and 673,520 samples have returned positive for the new virus.
