Coronavirus: Serbia reports 51 deaths and 2,339 new infections

Over the last 24 hours, 48 patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 115,631 tested,2,339 were infected with the coronavirus in Serbia, the Health Ministry said on Friday.

To date, COVID-19 has officially claimed 11,484 lives in the country. The mortality rate is 0.92 percent.

Currently, 4,770 people are in hospitals, of whom 206 are on ventilators.

Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 6,759,262‬ people have been tested, and 1,246,508 have been confirmed positive for the coronavirus.
