Coronavirus: Serbia reports 5,700 new cases, 51 deaths

Over the last 24 hours, 46 patients died from Covid-19-related complications and out of 19,360 tested, 5,700 were infected with the coronavirus in Serbia, the Health Ministry said on Monday.

To date, Covid-19 has officially claimed 8,788 lives in the country. The mortality rate is 0.87 percent.

Currently, 6,597 people are in hospitals, 260 of whom are on ventilators.

Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 5,874,429‬ people have been tested, and 1,010,868‬ have been confirmed positive for the coronavirus.
