Coronavirus: Serbia reports 65 deaths and 6,217 new cases

Over the last 24 hours, 65 patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 22,574 tested, 6,217 were infected with the coronavirus in Serbia, the Health Ministry said on Friday.

To date, COVID-19 has officially claimed 9,826 lives in the country. The mortality rate is 0.87 percent.

Currently, 6,788 people are in hospitals, 277 of whom are on ventilators.

Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 6,276,443 people have been tested, and 1,131,819 have been confirmed positive for the coronavirus.
