Coronavirus: Serbia reports 7,723 new cases, 26 deaths

Over the last 24 hours, 26 patients died from Covid-19-related complications and out of 27,927 tested, 7,723 were infected with the coronavirus in Serbia, the Health Ministry said on Tuesday.

To date, Covid-19 has officially claimed 7,601 lives in the country. The mortality rate is 0.91 percent.

Currently, 3, 211 people are in hospitals, of whom 156 are on ventilators.

Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 5,290,374 people have been tested, and 830.884 have been confirmed positive for the coronavirus.
