Over the last 24 hours, 45 patients died from Covid-19-related complications and out of 26,292 tested, 8,467 were infected with the coronavirus in Serbia, the Health Ministry said on Tuesday.

To date, Covid-19 has officially claimed 8,142 lives in the country. The mortality rate is 0.88 percent.

Currently, 6,155 people are in hospitals, 251 of whom are on ventilators.

Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 5,601,570 ‬people have been tested, and 926,269 have been confirmed positive for the coronavirus.
