Coronavirus: Serbia reports five deaths and 135 new infections

Over the last 24 hours, five patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 9,187 tested people, 135 were infected with the coronavirus in Serbia, the Health Ministry said on Thursday.

To date, COVID-19 has claimed 6,985 lives in the country. The mortality rate is 0.98 percent.

Currently, 388 people are in hospitals, of whom 16 on ventilators.

Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 4,311,577 people have officially been tested, and 715,442 have been confirmed positive for the coronavirus.
