Over the last 24 hours, patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 8,853 tested, 202 were infected with the coronavirus in Serbia, the Health Ministry said on Friday.

To date, COVID-19 has claimed 7,098 lives in the country. The mortality rate is 0.99 percent.

Currently, 323 people are in hospitals, ten of whom are on ventilators.

Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 4,600,110 people have officially been tested, and 719,664 have been confirmed positive for the coronavirus.
