Coronavirus: Serbia reports three deaths and 228 new infections

Over the last 24 hours, patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 8,969 tested, 228 were infected with the coronavirus in Serbia, the Health Ministry said on Thursday.

To date, COVID-19 has claimed 7,095 lives in the country. The mortality rate is 0.99 percent.

Currently, 320 people are in hospitals, 11 of whom are on ventilators.

Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 4,591,257 people have officially been tested, and 719,462 have been confirmed positive for the coronavirus.
