Coronavirus: Serbia reports two deaths and 487 new cases

Over the last 24 hours, two patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 10,710 tested, 487 were infected with the coronavirus in Serbia, the Health Ministry said on Wednesday.

To date, COVID-19 has claimed 7,129 lives in the country. The mortality rate is 0.99 percent.

Currently, 521 people are in hospitals, seven of whom are on ventilators.

Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 4,708,532 people have officially been tested, and 723,518 have been confirmed positive for the coronavirus.
