An earthquake measuring 3.5 on the Richter scale was registered at 7 p.m. on Saturday with the epicentre six kilometres west of Petrinja, the Croatian Seismological Survey said.

Since 28 December, the Petrinja area has been struck by 374 tremors, including 109 in the past two days.

The strongest, measuring 6.2, hit on Tuesday, killing seven and causing enormous damage.
