The earthquake task force in Petrinja on Friday presented the latest data regarding reconstruction in the Banovina area, including information that reconstruction of seven family homes had begun and that bids for the construction of ten apartment buildings would be opened on 9 March.
A press release by the task force notes that the reconstruction of 7 family homes had begun while another 27 owners have signed contracts related to the model of houses they have opted for so that construction can begin.
To date, 60 contracts have been signed with contractors and 30 new contracts will be signed next week, while a tender will be open for another 30 houses this week.
A total of 8,824 applications have been received for reconstruction and specifications have been prepared for 3,047, while 1,503 houses have already been reconstructed, 712 are being reconstructed by their owners and 905 have been awarded to contractors with works being conducted by 47 companies.
A total of 9,568 applications have been received for structural mitigation, 105 findings have been prepared and 100 specifications have been completed, 900 houses are in public procurement procedure and a new tender will be advertised next week.
Bids for the construction of ten apartment buildings will be opened on 9 March. Four buildings will be built in Glina and four in Petrinja, while the other two will be built in Topusko, the task force said in the press release.
