Saponia, a leading Croatian manufacturer of detergent and personal hygiene products, is building a new logistics and distribution centre in Zagreb, and this project is worth HRK 8.74 million (€1.15 million).
The first part of the project, which involved the reconstruction of the existing warehouse premises, has been completed, the Osijek-headquartered company said in a press release on Thursday.
We were recently issued with a building permit for the new logistics and distribution centre in the eastern industrial zone in Zagreb, the company says.
The project will help the company to respond to specific demands for storing Saponia’s products and food products of the Kandit and Koestlin factories.
Of the 4,124 square metres of the future centre, almost one-quarter will be air-conditioned which provides best conditions for preserving the quality of the products of Kandit and Koestlin, which together with Saponia, make up the Mepas Group.
