Serbia records 705 new coronavirus cases, 18 deaths

Over the last 24 hours, 18 patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 11,613 tested people, 705 were infected with the coronavirus, Serbia's Health Ministry said on Saturday.

To date, COVID-19 claimed 6,664 lives with a mortality rate of 0.94 percent.

Currently, a total of 2,963 patients are in hospitals, of whom 97 on ventilators.

Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 4,001,180 people have been tested, and 705,890 have been positive for the virus.
