Serbia reports 38 coronavirus deaths, 4,133 newly infected

Over the last 24 hours, 38 patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 13,909 tested people, 4,133 were infected with the coronavirus, Serbia's Health Ministry said on Saturday.

To date, COVID-19 claimed a total of 5,422 lives in Serbia.

Currently, there are 7,749 hospitalised patients, of whom 108 are on ventilator support.

Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 3,471,955 people have been tested, and 614,365 samples have returned positive for the new virus.
