Serbia reports five coronavirus deaths, 66 more infected

Over the last 24 hours, five patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 7,309 tested people, 66 were infected with the coronavirus in Serbia, the Health Ministry said on Saturday.

To date, COVID-19 has claimed 7,029 lives in the country. The mortality rate is 0.98 percent.

Currently, 321 people are in hospitals, 11 of whom are on ventilators.

Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 4,384,783‬ people have officially been tested, and 716,238 have been confirmed positive for the coronavirus.
