The average net salary in Serbia in December 2020 was 66,092 dinars (€559), nominally 10.6 percent higher from December 2019, while in real terms the increase was 9.2 percent year-on-year, Serbia's statistics bureau said on Thursday.

The median net salary was 48,676 dinars (€412).

Average gross salary was 90,849 dinars (€769), or nominally 10.4 percent up year-on-year and 9.0 percent up in real terms.

Overall, gross salaries in 2020 increased by 9.5 percent in nominal terms and 7.8 percent in real terms from 2019, while net wages increased by 9.4 percent in nominal terms and 7.7 percent in real terms in the same period.
