Zagreb Mayor Tomislav Tomasevic said on Tuesday that 834 applications were received in a second call for financial support to repair earthquake damaged houses and that about HRK 22 million will have been disbursed for that purpose until the end of 2021.

Tomasevic announced that there would be a third call advertised and that the total amount would climb to about HRK 30 million.

Deputy Mayor Danijela Dolenec announced the forming of a task force to organise and prepare this year’s Advent in Zagreb fair.

Tomasevic informed of the appointment of new management boards in city-run health institutions including the Srebrnjak children’s hospital.

That means that the management board could meet soon and advertise a vacancy for the hospital director’s position, added Tomasevic.

New management boards have been appointed to the Sveti Duh Hospital, Zagreb East health clinic, the Polyclinic for Heart Disease and the Goljak hospital.
