Croatia has excellent military products, and the Croatian army is their excellent promoter, the Defence Minister, Damir Krsticevic, said in Bucharest on Friday while on a visit to a military fair.

The Prime Minister, Andrej Plenkovic, and Minister Krsticevic toured the “Black Sea Defense and Aerospace 2018” fair, where nine Croatian companies specialising in military equipment exhibited their products.

“We are working intensively on promoting Croatia’s defence industry,” Krsticevic said.

Krsticevic and his Romanian counterpart, Mihai-VIorel Fifor, signed a statement earlier on Friday on advancing bilateral security and defence cooperation.

“That is very important,” Krsticevic said, “because it enables us to deepen cooperation in several fields, such as the defence industry, joint military exercises, cooperation in the air force, military medicine, training, and exchange of officers.”

“Croatia is building a strategic relationship with Romania, which is essential in the context of security,” Krsticevic added.
