Croatian telecommunications equipment manufacturer Ericsson Nikola Tesla has concluded a HRK 370 million (€49m) deal to implement the Central Software Platform for the Centralised e-Health System in Belarus, the company announced on Wednesday.

The planned duration of the project is two and a half years, and the contract also includes a 3-year warranty period.

The contract is the result of a two-stage bidding process as part of the World Bank project “Belarus Health System Modernisation Project”, financed by a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the company said in a press release.

Gordana Kovacevic, the president of Ericsson Nikola Tesla, said she was proud of this important contract, adding that it was additional confirmation of the company’s references in this field, both in Croatia and abroad.

“The fact that the World Bank recognised us as a quality partner shows that our focused strategy in this segment, as well as many years of our company’s investments in creating a strong team of experts with the necessary knowledge, brings new success. In this project, special attention is given to risk management considering the project’s complexity and the specific situation,” Kovacevic said.
