Bosnia registers 296 new coronavirus infections, 21 COVID-19 fatalities

A total of 296 people tested positive for the coronavirus and 21 COVID-19 patients passed away in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the past 24 hours, healthcare authorities reported on Saturday.

In Bosna’s Federation (FBiH) entity, 149 of the 1,322 people tested since Friday were positive for the virus and nine died due to the disease.

In the other semi-autonomous entity, Republika Srpska (RS), 132 of 1,118 coronavirus tests performed were positive and 11 COVID-19 patients died.

Bosnia’s Brcko District also registered 15 new infections and one COVID-19 fatality.
