Croatia has administered one million doses of vaccines against Covid-19 and citizens have mostly been inoculated with the Pfizer vaccine, the Croatian Institute of Public Health (HZJZ) said on Friday.
According to the latest data from the central register of inoculated citizens, since the start of vaccination against the coronavirus infection, a total of 1,025,701 doses have been administered. A total of 796,909 people have been inoculated including 228,792 who have received two shots, HZJZ said.
So far 19.6% of the total population has been inoculated or 23.7% of the adult population. The Pfizer vaccine with 606,997 doses tops the ranking, and is followed by the AstraZeneca vaccine with 275,131 doses.
On Thursday, 46,520 doses were administered which is the closest to the record number of 46,887 doses that were administered on 29 April. The greatest share of inoculation has been administered to people aged 70, with 54% of this age group receiving at least one dose.
