Traffic in three counties and the city of Zagreb will be suspended at times from 22 to 25 April due to a World Rally Championship (WRC) race to be taking place there, the Police Directorate said on Tuesday.
Traffic will be suspended at times for other drivers on local roads in Zagreb, Karlovac and Krapina-Zagorje counties as well as in the city of Zagreb.
Police have said all citizens and drivers who happen to be near the sections of the race will have to comply with police instructions and orders.
Due to the current epidemiological situation, organised gathering of spectators will not be allowed for this round of the World Rally Championship just as it was not allowed for the previous two rounds, in Finland and Monte Carlo.
Police recall that epidemiological restrictions have to be complied with during the competition.
The WRC event, the first to be held in Croatia, will be driven on a 1,279-kilometre route, of which 300 kilometres are 20 speed tests at ten locations.
The itinerary is available at the Croatia Rally 2021 website.
