In the last 24 hours, Slovenia has conducted 13,335 coronavirus tests, and 51.4% of them or 6,855 have returned positive, the country's authorities reported on Thursday.

Currently, 527 Covid patients are receiving hospital treatment, and of them 153 are in intensive care wards. The infection has taken seven more lives.

Currently, there are 50,641 active cases of the infection. Slovenia’s 14-day incidence per 100,000 inhabitants is 2,401, and the seven-day incidence has risen to 4,844.

These developments have put additional strain on hospitals in the country.
