Croatia's delegation attends annual WB, IMF meetings on support to recovery

Croatia's delegation participated in 12-18 October virtual annual meetings of the World Bank (WB) and International Monetary Fund (IMF) dedicated to the support to the recovery and efforts to buffer the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Croatian delegation, which consisted of representatives from the Finance Ministry and Croatian National Bank and was headed by Finance Minister Zdravko Maric, held talks with the IMF on the macro-economic in Croatia, the ministry said in a press release.

The talks were held on cooperation with the World Bank as well as on the efforts in the context of recovery and relieving the consequences of the pandemic as part of the Framework Cooperation with Croatia for the 2019-2024 fiscal period, the press release said.

The delegation also held several meetings on the margins of the assembly with other global institutions in finance, the press release said.
