On Thursday, as many as 57,184 doses of vaccines against Covid-19 were administered throughout Croatia, breaking the previous daily record by 4,125 doses, the Croatian Institute of Public Health (HZJZ) reported on Friday.

HZJZ added that so far more than 1.5 million vaccine doses have been administered – 1,149,941 Croatians have been given at least one shot of the coronavirus vaccine, which includes 357,412 people who have received two shots and are considered vaccinated.

Croatia has a population of about 4 million. The total share of inoculated population is now 28.3 percent.
