The Croatian pavilion at the 17th International Architecture Exhibition in Venice was opened on Friday, with Culture and Media Minister Nina Obuljen-Korzinek attending.

The Croatian pavilion, a spatial composition entitled “Togetherness/Togetherless”, gives an answer to the main topic of the exhibition, “How will we live together?”

The Croatian multidisciplinary team that created the Croatian pavilion comprises architects Idis Turato and Ida Krizaj Leko, art historian Morana Matkovic, architect and photographer Ivan Dorotic, sociologist Davor Miskovic, designers Masa Poljanec and Leo Kirincic, architect Jana Horvat and culturologist Renato Stankovic.

The 17th International Architecture Exhibition runs from 22 May to 21 November 2021 and is curated by architect and scholar Hashim Sarkis, dean of the School of Architecture and Planning at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
