HRK 17.2 bn of debts of 237,600 Croats recovered in enforcement actions in April

At the end of April, the capital sum of debts amounting to HRK 17.2 billion incurred by 237,600 individuals was subject to enforcement actions by the Financial Agency (FINA), the agency reported on Tuesday.

Debts amounting to 4.7 billion kuna owned by businesses were also recovered in enforcement actions by Fina at the end of April.

Fina said today that the total debt of individuals with blocked accounts amounted to HRK 23.6 billion at the end of April.

The largest part of the debt (HRK 5.2 billion) were customers’ liabilities to banks.

FINA also registered 15,692 businesses with overdue liabilities, or 229 (1.5%) more than in March. Their overdue debts came to HRK 4.7 billion at the end of April, or 47.7 million (1%) less than in March.
