The volume of construction work in December 2021 was 7.7 percent up from the same month of 2020, while compared to November 2021 it rose 2.2 percent, preliminary data from the state statistics bureau, carried by state agency Hina, indicate.
December 2021 was the 19th consecutive month to see a year-on-year increase in the volume of construction work. The volume of construction work on buildings increased by 8.1 percent year-on-year while the volume of work on other types of structures was 7.2 percent up.
