As of Saturday, arrivals in Slovenia can produce only a negative antigen test to coronavirus, the country's authorities reported on Friday.

Slovenia’s authorities have announced further relaxation of the anti-epidemic rules against a backdrop of the improved epidemiological situation.

Slovenia has not yet started issuing the EU Digital Covid Certificate, however, Slovenians travelling to Croatia and Austria can produce the certificates issued by their doctors as this is regulated by bilateral agreements.

In the last 24 hours, Slovenia’s Covid tracker has shown 280 new cases and two deaths related to the infection. Currently, 205 Covid patients are being treated in hospitals, including 59 in intensive care wards.

The seven-day incidence is 259.
