More than one million persons in Croatia have been vaccinated with both doses against Covid-19 as of Thursday, Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic tweeted on Friday, calling on Croatians who have not been vaccinated yet to do so.
“I call on all those who haven’t been vaccinated yet not to wait but to protect themselves before the autumn and winter. Let’s be responsible: let’s protect the health of ourselves and others as well as of the Croatian economy and a safe tourist season,” he said.

Croatia has a population of about four million, meaning a quarter of its entire population has been fully vaccinated so far.
