In the past 24 hours, 12 coronavirus cases and no deaths have been registered in Slovenia, the government said on Monday, while media reported that Germany had finally put Slovenia on the green list of safe Covid-19 destinations.

The number of hospitalized Covid-19 patients keeps falling and is currently 74, including 22 in intensive care, the Health Ministry said.

The seven-day average in new infections in a day has dropped from 37 yesterday to 32 today. The death toll is 4,419.

Almost 645,000 people have received two doses of a Covid-19 vaccine, which is 30.7% of the adult population.

Slovenian media reported that Germany had removed all of Slovenia from its list of travel-risk countries, on which it was from 23 May to mid-June, when parts of the country were taken off the list.

The seven-day incidence per 100,000 population is less than 50, which means that German tourists returning from Slovenia don’t have to undergo any measures or testing.
