Croatia's Finance Minister Zdravko Maric on Tuesday said that his ministry was making preparations for the issuance of a state bond on the domestic market until the end of November, having in mind the fact that that a billion-euro bond matures on 29 November.

“I can say with satisfaction that our financial market continues to be in a good shape, with good cash flows, and is interested in instruments of the Finance Ministry and the state. Therefore I don’t doubt that the issuance (next month) will be a success,” Maric said in Zagreb at a conference on corporate governance.

As for terms and conditions for the issuance of the planned bond, more will be known in the coming weeks.

The ministry is currently collecting relevant information and is attentive to the developments on the market so as to make the bond issuance more successful, according to Maric.
