The official data showed on Sunday that out of 4,356 people tested 83 were confirmed infected with the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, while one patient died from COVID-19-related complications.

The Health Ministry said the death toll stood at 711 and that a mortality ratio was 2.27 percent.

It added that a total of 626 patients were hospitalised on Sunday, 48 of them on ventilators.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic in Serbia on March 6, a total of 925,208‬ people have been tested, and coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 31,365 cases.
