Bosnia records 80 new coronavirus cases, 188 recoveries, 12 more COVID-19 deaths
Health authorities reported that of the 1,196 people tested for the coronavirus in the past 24 hours across Bosnia and Herzegovina, 80 were positive while 12 people passed away due to COVID-19 and 188 recovered since the day before.
A total of 27,001 people tested positive for the virus in Bosnia since the beginning of the pandemic and 20,005 of them recovered.
The COVID-19 death toll is now 825. There are currently 6,167 active coronavirus cases in the country. Eight new COVID-19 fatalities occurred in Bosnia’s Federation (FBiH) region, which also registered 49 new coronavirus cases.
In the other semi-autonomous entity, 30 new coronavirus cases were confirmed and four more people died due to the disease.
One new coronavirus case was also confirmed in the Brcko District, which does not belong to Bosnia’s entities.
