Over the last 24 hours, 15 patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 10,761 tested people, 609 were infected with the coronavirus, Serbia's Health Ministry said on Wednesday.

To date, COVID-19 claimed 6,725 lives with a mortality rate of 0.95 percent.

Currently, a total of 2,289 patients are in hospitals, of whom 880 on ventilators.

Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 4,041,471 people have been tested, and 708,328 have been positive for the virus.
