An Indian, 28, was beaten by two unidentified attackers in the suburb of Tresnjevka, Zagreb, on Friday evening, the Zagreb police reported on Saturday.
The assailants ran away from the scene after the incident. The man was admitted to a local hospital where he was treated for serious injuries.
An investigation is underway.
