Serbia records 568 new coronavirus cases, 17 deaths

Over the last 24 hours, 17 patients died from COVID-19-related complications and out of 8,331 tested people, 568 were infected with the coronavirus, Serbia's Health Ministry said on Sunday.

To date, COVID-19 claimed 6,681 lives with a mortality rate of 0.94 percent.

Currently, a total of 2,799 patients are in hospitals, of whom 99 on ventilators.

Since the epidemic outbreak in March 2020, 4,009,511 people have been tested, and 706,458 have been positive for the virus.
