In the past 24 hours, Slovenia has registered only eight new cases of coronavirus and one death, the Slovenian government reported on Monday, adding that as a result of the improved epidemiological situation new measures would be in force as of Monday.

The number of customers in stores will no longer be limited according to space, and current restrictions on gambling and hospitality premises will be lifted.

Hospitality venues will no longer have to ensure at least three meters between tables, it will no longer be necessary to wear masks indoors, but night clubs and discotheques will remain subject to restrictions.

On the other hand, employees and customers of gambling venues, game rooms, night clubs and services requiring close contact such as pedicures, will have to have been vaccinated or have a negative test.

There was not one Covid-related death recorded in Slovenia the whole of last week.
