The North Macedonia Health Ministry said on Monday that 12 people had died of coronavirus-related ailments over the previous 24 hours, the highest number of deaths in a single day since the pandemic began.
A press release said that the total number of deaths from the COVID-19 now stands at 298.
It said that 868 people had been tested over the previous 24 hours, including 132 who tested positive bringing the total number of registered cases to 6,209.
There are 3,484 active cases, 405 of who are in hospital including 11 patients on ventilators.
