The official data showed on Friday that out of 9,513 people tested 108 were confirmed infected with the coronavirus in the last 24 hours while two patients died from COVID-19-related complications.
The Health Ministry said the death toll stood at 709 and that a mortality ratio was 2.27 percent.
It added that a total of 673 were hospitalised, 36 of them on ventilators, including 106 new patients were hospitalised on Friday while 83 were discharged.
Since the outbreak of the epidemic in Serbia on March 6, a total of 913,856 people were tested, and coronavirus infection was confirmed in 31,207 cases.
