The value of Croatian exports of goods in the first eleven months of 2021 amounted to €17.1 billion, a year-on-year increase of 26.5 percent. At the same time, imports grew by 23 percent to €25.7 billion, state agency Hina said, citing data released by the state statistics bureau.
The foreign trade deficit thus totaled close to €8.55 billion. Exports to EU member countries in the first eleven months totaled €11.8 billion or 28.2 percent more than in the same period of 2020 while imports from those countries grew by 18.5 percent to €19.67 billion.
Exports to non-EU countries in the first 11 months increased by 22.8 percent to €5.3 billion and imports from them by 40.4 percent to €6 billion.
