Labour Minister Josip Aladrovic will appeal the decision made by the Office for the Suppression of Corruption and Organised Crime (USKOK) to investigate him on suspicion that he favoured two candidates for employment when he was at the helm of the Pension Insurance Agency (HZMO).
Aladrovic’s lawyer, Nikola Mandic, told the state news agency Hina on Wednesday that an appeal would be lodged against USKOK’s decision.
Aladrovic, who has been stripped of his ministerial immunity, denies any wrongdoing.
USKOK opened an investigation into Minister Aladrovic on Tuesday.
